Territory Account Executive, Manchester
Block (formerly Square) builds payments and commerce tools that help businesses accept and manage payments and grow. We are seeking a Territory Account Executive to join our field sales team in Manchester, UK.
What you’ll do
- Own end-to-end sales for the Manchester territory, including prospecting, qualification, needs discovery, product demonstrations, proposals, negotiation, and closing deals.
- Build and manage a healthy pipeline and forecast using our CRM.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners; expand footprint in the territory.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales Engineers, Customer Success, Marketing) to ensure a smooth onboarding and implementation for new clients.
- Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Travel as needed to meet customers, attend events, and prospect in person when appropriate.
What we’re looking for
- 3+ years of B2B software or payments sales experience, preferably in a territory/account management role.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of the payments industry is a plus; experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
