Territory Account Executive, Huntington NY
Block is seeking a Territory Account Executive to drive merchant acquisition and growth in the Huntington, NY area. This role involves managing the full sales cycle, building relationships with merchants, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver Block's payments solutions.
What you'll do
- Develop and execute a territory plan for Huntington, NY to meet or exceed sales quotas.
- Prospect, qualify, and close new merchant opportunities; manage end-to-end sales cycle.
- Deliver product demonstrations and articulate Block's value to merchants.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline; forecast accurately and report progress to management.
- Collaborate with Sales Engineers, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure successful implementations.
- Travel within the territory as needed and participate in events to represent Block.
What we're looking for
- 2+ years of B2B sales or territory account management; fintech/payments experience a plus.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working remotely with occasional travel.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
