Territory Account Executive, Hamilton at Block
Block, the company behind Square, is seeking a Territory Account Executive to drive sales and partnerships in the Hamilton area. This remote-friendly role focuses on acquiring new business, growing existing accounts, and delivering a best-in-class merchant experience.
What you'll do
- Identify and pursue new merchant opportunities within your territory; manage the end-to-end sales cycle from lead to close
- Develop and manage a robust pipeline; forecast accurately; meet/exceed quarterly targets
- Build strong relationships with merchants, partners, and cross-functional teams
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Product to deliver value propositions and solutions
- Travel within the territory as needed; maintain updated records in CRM (e.g., Salesforce)
What we look for
- Proven track record in B2B sales or territory/account management; 2+ years preferred
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Self-starter with ability to work remotely and independently within the territory
- Experience in payments, fintech, or software solutions is a plus
- Capacity to manage a fast-paced pipeline and collaborate across teams
