Block is seeking a Senior Vendor Manager to lead strategic supplier partnerships for the Cash business. This remote-friendly, full-time role will oversee vendor strategy, negotiations, and cross-functional collaboration to optimize cost, risk, and performance for Block.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute vendor management strategy for Block's Cash business unit.
- Identify, evaluate, onboard, and manage strategic vendors across the lifecycle.
- Lead contract negotiations, pricing, terms, and service-level agreements.
- Monitor vendor performance, risk, and compliance; implement corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, legal, finance, and other teams to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Drive cost optimization, vendor consolidation, and supplier diversity initiatives.
Qualifications
- 6+ years in vendor management, procurement, or supplier management.
- Experience negotiating complex contracts with technology vendors.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to analyze spend data and vendor performance metrics.
- Bachelor's degree; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
