Senior Technical Program Manager - Entity Screening

Block is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead the Entity Screening program. This role involves partnering with product, engineering, security, risk, and legal teams to design and drive scalable, compliant screening processes for Block's customers and partners. The role is remote with a North America focus.

Overview

The Senior TPM will own end-to-end execution of entity screening initiatives, balancing speed with regulatory compliance and data privacy. You will translate business goals into clear program plans, align cross-functional teams, and deliver results that support Block's mission to provide secure, compliant financial technology solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional programs from inception to launch, ensuring on-time delivery and alignment with strategic goals.
• Define program scope, milestones, success metrics, and governance artifacts.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data, Security, Legal, and Compliance to design scalable entity screening workflows and risk-based decisioning.
• Identify dependencies, manage risks, and communicate status to executives and stakeholders.
• Develop data-driven processes and dashboards to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with KYC/AML regulations and data privacy requirements across jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Technical Program Management experience, preferably in fintech/payments or related fields.
• Proven track record delivering complex, cross-functional programs in fast-paced environments.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with data analysis; SQL or BI dashboards is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field; advanced degree is a plus.
