Overview
Block is seeking a Senior Platform Marketing Manager, Developer Platform to lead product marketing for our developer tools and platform. You will drive GTM strategy, developer messaging, and cross-functional collaboration to grow adoption among developers and partners.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute go-to-market strategy for Block's Developer Platform and related tools.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Design, Sales, Partnerships to build developer-focused messaging and collateral.
- Drive developer onboarding, activation, and retention through content, campaigns, and events.
- Create and maintain technical content (docs, tutorials, case studies, blog posts, webinars) that resonates with developers.
- Lead measurement and optimization of key metrics (activation, engagement, pipeline impact, revenue contribution).
Qualifications
- 6+ years in product/platform marketing, preferably in developer tools or SaaS.
- Experience with developer ecosystems, APIs/SDKs, and technical audiences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to translate complex concepts for developers and executives.
- Strong track record in GTM planning, product launches, and lifecycle marketing.
- Cross-functional collaboration with product, engineering, design, sales, and partnerships.
- Bachelor's degree; MBA or advanced degree a plus.

- Experience with open source communities, developer advocacy, or events.
- Familiarity with developer content formats and community engagement strategies.
