About Block

Block is seeking a Senior Mixed Signal Designer to join our hardware team. This full-time role offers remote-friendly work within North America and focuses on analog/mixed-signal circuit design for Block's semiconductor products.

Role: Mixed Signal Designer

As a Mixed Signal Designer, you will design, simulate, and verify analog/mixed-signal blocks, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to product-level integration.

Responsibilities

  • Design and verify analog/mixed-signal circuits
  • Develop and maintain SPICE models and test benches
  • Collaborate with layout, process, and verification teams
  • Support tape-out and post-silicon validation

Requirements

  • BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of analog/mixed-signal IC design experience
  • Proficiency with Cadence Virtuoso, SPICE, Verilog-A
  • Strong knowledge of CMOS processes and signal integrity

Nice to have

  • Experience with FPGA prototyping
  • Experience with mixed-signal verification methodologies

Location and Work Model

Remote work within North America is supported. Based in North America; Bay Area location not required.
