Job Description
Block is seeking a Manager, Business Development Representatives to lead and scale our Sales Development team in Saint Louis. This role will own the Business Development function, coach and develop a team of BDRs, and partner closely with Sales to drive predictable pipeline and revenue growth.
What You'll Do
- Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of BDRs to meet and exceed pipeline targets.
- Define outbound and inbound prospecting strategies, criteria, and processes to generate qualified opportunities.
- Set team targets, KPIs, and conduct regular performance reviews; manage forecasting and reporting.
- Collaborate with Account Executives, Marketing, and Sales leadership to optimize processes and messaging.
- Recruit, onboard, and develop new BDRs; foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Own the coaching, training, and enablement of the BDR team, including tools, cadences, and playbooks.
- Analyze metrics, leverage CRM data, and drive process improvements to increase efficiency and win rates.
- Represent Block’s value proposition with professionalism and integrity in all prospect interactions.
What We Look For
- Experience leading a BDR or sales development team, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Proven track record of building pipelines, achieving quota, and improving team performance.
- Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and collaboration skills.
- Data-driven mindset with proficiency in CRM tools and sales analytics.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Ability to work on-site in Saint Louis, MO.
