Block is seeking an experienced iOS Engineer to join the Referrals, Acquisition & Marketing Platform team. This on-site role is based in the Bay Area, CA, United States of America.

Role overview

As an iOS Engineer on the Referrals, Acquisition & Marketing Platform team, you will build and evolve iOS experiences that drive user referrals, optimize acquisition flows, and power our marketing platform integrations within the Cash App ecosystem.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, test, and maintain high-quality iOS applications using Swift and modern iOS frameworks.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and back-end engineers to deliver features that improve referrals and user acquisition.
Craft performant, reliable, and scalable mobile experiences with a focus on UX and reliability.
Participate in code reviews, write clear tests, and contribute to best practices for iOS development.

Qualifications

Strong experience in iOS development with Swift and Xcode.
Proficiency with UIKit and/or SwiftUI, networking, and state management patterns.
Familiarity with analytics, marketing integrations, or referral systems is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills, collaboration, and communication.
