Global Supply Manager, Hardware Procurement at Block

Block is seeking a Global Supply Manager to lead the procurement of hardware components and manage the hardware supply chain for our products. This role is based in Taipei, Taiwan, with remote/hybrid work options available.

Role Overview

Lead global hardware procurement strategy, manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and drive cost optimization while ensuring a reliable and compliant supply of hardware parts for Block.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive hardware procurement strategies across multiple regions
Identify, qualify, and manage strategic suppliers; negotiate contracts and terms
Drive cost savings, total cost of ownership reductions, and risk mitigation
Collaborate with engineering, quality, and operations teams to align supply with product roadmaps
Manage procurement processes, data integrity in ERP systems, and demand forecasting

Requirements

5+ years in hardware procurement or supply chain management
Strong negotiation, vendor management, and contract management skills
Experience with ERP systems and strategic sourcing
Excellent communication skills in English
Ability to operate in a fast-paced tech environment
