Overview

Block is seeking a Federal Affairs Lead to drive federal policy and regulatory engagement in the United States. This full-time role will be based in Washington, DC and focus on public policy strategy, government relations, and advocacy to support Block's crypto and payments products.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute federal public policy strategies and regulatory engagement plans.
Build relationships with lawmakers, regulators, industry groups, and key stakeholders.
Monitor and analyze regulatory developments impacting blockchain, fintech, and digital payments.
Collaborate with Legal, Communications, Compliance, and Business Development teams to align policy efforts with business goals.
Represent Block in public policy forums, coalitions, and industry events.

Qualifications

Extensive experience in federal policy, government affairs, or regulatory affairs.
Strong stakeholder engagement, policy analysis, and communication skills.
Deep understanding of blockchain/crypto policy and financial services regulation.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Salary

Zone A Salary Range: USD 171,800 - 257,600 per year (USD)
