Overview
Block, a leading fintech company known for its payments solutions, is seeking a Senior Enterprise Account Executive to drive revenue growth with high-value customers across North America. This remote-friendly role requires a hunter mentality, strategic selling, and the ability to manage complex sales cycles from discovery to close.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute territory and account plans for enterprise customers.
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities; build and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
- Lead executive-level engagements with C-level and VP-level decision-makers.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Legal, Product, and Customer Success to craft tailored solutions.
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts; close multi-million-dollar deals.
- Manage post-sale relationships to ensure retention and expansion.
- Maintain accurate CRM records (Salesforce) and provide accurate forecasts.
- Travel as needed to support customers and partners (approximately up to 25%).
Requirements
- 5+ years of enterprise SaaS sales or equivalent with a proven quota attainment record.
- Experience selling to large enterprise accounts and navigating complex buying processes.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and data-driven selling.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Willingness to work remotely within North America.
