Overview

Block is seeking a Customer Support Specialist (カスタマーサポートスペシャリスト) to join our Tokyo-based team. This remote-friendly role will involve helping Block customers with questions about our products, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with product and engineering teams to improve the customer experience.

Responsibilities

Respond to customer inquiries via email, chat, and phone in a timely and professional manner.
Triage and resolve customer issues, escalating more complex problems to appropriate teams.
Maintain and update knowledge base and documentation.
Track customer interactions in our ticketing system and ensure accurate case notes.
Identify trends and recurring issues and contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications

Experience in customer support or a similar role.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with common support tools (e.g., Zendesk, Intercom, CRM systems).
Ability to work independently in a remote-friendly environment.
Japanese language proficiency is helpful; English proficiency is a plus.

Compensation
