Role Overview

Block is seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to join our Sales & Business Development team in Saint Louis, MO. In this role you will identify and qualify new business opportunities, conduct outbound outreach to prospective customers, and work closely with sales and account teams to drive pipeline and revenue. You will use CRM tools to manage leads, track activities, and report on progress. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building relationships with potential customers.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and nurture new business opportunities
  • Conduct outbound outreach (calls, emails, social) to target accounts
  • Build relationships with decision-makers and key stakeholders
  • Collaborate with sales and account teams to develop targeted messaging and campaigns
  • Maintain accurate CRM data and track activity to meet pipeline goals
  • Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly targets
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in sales or business development (or related role)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfort with outbound outreach and building relationships with prospects
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
