Block GTM & Sales Strategy Lead, Square Sales & Partnerships
Block is seeking a high-impact leader to own the go-to-market and partnerships strategy for Square Sales & Partnerships within the Block ecosystem. This role sits at the intersection of sales, partnerships, and business development and is critical to accelerating revenue growth for Square-related initiatives and the Cash App ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Develop and own GTM strategy for Square Sales & Partnerships across key segments and regions.
- Define ICPs, pricing models, channel strategies, and structural deal frameworks for partnerships.
- Lead cross-functional programs with Product, Marketing, Legal, Finance, and Sales to execute scalable initiatives.
- Build and monitor KPIs, forecast revenue and pipeline, and communicate insights to executives.
- Develop partner enablement materials, playbooks, and training for field teams.
- Negotiate and structure high-impact partnerships and strategic alliances.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to influence product roadmaps with partner feedback.
- Represent Block externally in partner discussions and industry events as needed.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in sales, partnerships, BD, or GTM strategy, preferably in fintech/payments.
- Proven track record of building and scaling partnerships and revenue in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable strategy.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and cross-functional leadership abilities.
- Bachelor's degree; MBA preferred.
