Overview
Blend is seeking a Benefits & Total Rewards Administrator to join its PeopleOps team in the United States. In this on-site role, you will design, implement, and manage Blend's benefits and total rewards programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver an excellent employee experience.
Responsibilities
- Administer benefits programs (medical, dental, vision, life, disability) and retirement plans (e.g., 401(k)); manage open enrollment and employee communications.
- Maintain total rewards data and compensation processes, including Job Architecture and incentive plan administration.
- Collaborate with payroll, HRIS, and external vendors to ensure accurate data integration and timely processing.
- Monitor regulatory compliance (ERISA, ACA, HIPAA where applicable) and prepare reports for leadership.
- Manage vendor relationships, RFPs, renewals, and program evaluations.
- Maintain benefits portal, documentation, and internal policies; educate employees about available programs.
- Analyze program effectiveness using metrics and dashboards; present recommendations to People Ops leadership.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of benefits administration or total rewards experience.
- Experience with HRIS and payroll systems; knowledge of ERISA and ACA compliance.
- Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent; professional certification such as SHRM-CP or PHR is a plus.
