Join BLACKLANE as a Senior Software Engineer iOS to help build world-class mobile apps for our platform. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality iOS experiences across Berlin, Barcelona and London. Responsibilities include designing, implementing and maintaining features in Swift using SwiftUI/UIKit, consuming REST APIs, improving performance and reliability, participating in code reviews, and writing tests. This is a hands-on, on-site role. We value collaboration, curiosity, and a passion for building exceptional user experiences.

What you'll do

• Develop new features for iOS apps using Swift, SwiftUI and UIKit.
• Collaborate with product, design and backend teams to shape the mobile roadmap.
• Write clean, maintainable code and perform code reviews.
• Implement automated tests and ensure high-quality releases.
• Improve performance, reliability and accessibility across iOS platforms.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and best practices.

What we're looking for

• Strong experience in Swift (SwiftUI and/or UIKit).
• Experience consuming RESTful APIs and integrating with back-end services.
• Familiarity with iOS development tooling (Xcode, Instruments, TestFlight).
• Experience with MVVM or other modern architectural patterns.
• Solid understanding of memory management, threading and performance optimization.
• Excellent problem solving and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Objective-C experience
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Fastlane)
• Experience with automated testing and UI testing
