Blacklane is seeking an Airport Operations Manager (IAD) to lead on-site airport operations in the Washington DC area, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality service at our partner airports.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day airport operations at Washington DC area airports (IAD).
- Coordinate with airlines, ground handlers, security, airport authorities, and Blacklane partners to ensure seamless service.
- Ensure compliance with safety, security, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead staffing, scheduling, and training of on-site operations personnel.
- Monitor KPIs, incident reporting, service quality, and customer experience; drive continuous improvement.
- Manage vendor relationships and support operational cost optimization.
- Prepare reports for leadership and participate in incident response and escalation processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in operations, logistics, business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of airport or transportation operations management experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment with irregular hours.
- Proficiency with office tools and incident management processes.
