Our SelectLeaders client is a family-owned real estate investment company with portfolios and ownership of all types of real property. They manage the company’s real estate assets which include office buildings, residential and master-planned land development projects, retail and industrial properties, and large acreage land holdings.
They are looking for a Real Estate Analyst to play a key role in supporting the management, analysis, and reporting of the family’s real estate portfolio. This position combines detailed analytical work with big-picture strategic thinking and offers a unique opportunity to contribute directly to a team built on trust, performance, and generational continuity.
The ideal candidate is highly organized and collaborative, with experience in real estate financial modeling, development, valuation, reporting, asset management, and/or acquisition.
Responsibilities Portfolio Analysis & MonitoringTrack performance and risk metrics across the real estate portfolioPrepare quarterly portfolio reviews and performance dashboardsCreate detailed cash flow models for commercial and residential holdingsConduct sensitivity and scenario analyses related to strategic outcomesReview and analyze leasing assumptions for commercial propertiesTrack and monitor land leases and provide contract assistanceMarket Research & Internal Property ValuationCollect comparable transaction data for annual portfolio valuation by propertyMonitor market trends and macroeconomic indicators that impact the portfolioTrack data relative to transactions, cap rates, and occupancyReview property tax assessments and conduct appeals, as necessaryReporting & CommunicationMaintain master property book for over 400 individual propertiesEnsure consistent documentation and data integrity across the portfolioReview monthly financials and generate summary documentationTrack budget variances and provide support for the annual budgeting processCreate investment memos and property updates for senior managementDevelopment & Acquisition SupportConduct fundamental and qualitative analysis on new investment opportunitiesCoordinate due diligence matters such as environmental, tax, and title/surveyPerform entitlement analyses in order to determine development potentialAssist team members in the creation of project plans and timelinesNetwork with brokers and property owners to source new opportunities Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience in real estateBachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, real estate, business, or a related field (MBA or MSRE a plus)Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, specifically related to creating and manipulating pro forma modelsRobust communication skills and ability to work with a variety of stakeholdersExcellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and judgmentHigh degree of initiative and personal motivationAbility to work both independently and as a member of a teamOutstanding research skills and a strong sense of curiosityReal estate development or entitlement experience a plus Compensation Compensation includes competitive salary with base salary of $80,000-$110,000, annual performance bonus with incentives, and customary benefits plans
