Bird is seeking a skilled Vehicle Mechanic in Nashville, TN to service our fleet of electric vehicles. This on-site role focuses on preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and reliable repair work to keep our fleet safe and ready for operations.
Role Overview
As a Vehicle Mechanic, you will inspect and diagnose issues, replace worn components, perform routine maintenance, and document all work performed. You will collaborate with the operations team to maintain high vehicle uptime and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine repairs on the fleet of electric vehicles
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
- Replace parts and components as needed
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
- Adhere to safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work area
Qualifications
- 1+ year of vehicle maintenance experience or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift heavy parts and work in a hands-on environment
