Operations Specialist - Driver - Milwaukee, WI

Overview

Bird is seeking an Operations Specialist - Driver to support our Milwaukee driver network and optimize last-mile operations. You will work cross-functionally with dispatch, operations, and safety teams to ensure on-time deliveries, driver safety, and high network performance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily driver scheduling and routing to maximize efficiency and uptime.
• Monitor driver performance, on-time pickups and deliveries, and incident reports.
• Assist with driver onboarding, training, and compliance with safety policies.
• Communicate with drivers and internal teams to resolve service issues quickly.
• Maintain accurate records in internal systems and generate operational metrics.
• Collaborate with city partners and vendors to ensure regulatory compliance and smooth operations.

Requirements

• 1-3 years experience in operations, logistics, or fleet coordination (last-mile a plus).
• Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and basic data analysis; familiarity with routing or GPS systems is a plus.
• Customer-focused mindset and calm under pressure.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if needed.
