Bird is seeking an Operations Specialist - Driver to support driver operations in Akron, OH. In this role you will coordinate local driver activities, help ensure on-time service, support rider experiences, and collaborate with city operations to optimize fleet performance.
What you'll do
- Coordinate daily driver schedules and assignments in Akron
- Monitor driver performance, safety compliance, and incident reporting
- Assist with driver onboarding, training, and support
- Troubleshoot operational issues and help resolve rider or driver inquiries
- Maintain accurate records and performance reporting
What we're looking for
- 1-3 years of experience in operations, logistics, or transportation
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with data tools (e.g., Excel, Sheets)
- Interest in mobility, safety, and scalable operations
