Biorepository Technician I (Summer Intern)

📋 Description

• Monitor freezers and temps; respond to alarms per SOP.
• Receive samples: unpack, log data, create folders, store correctly.
• Verify shipments; quarantine raw materials; update inventory records.
• Inventory frozen samples: verify vial data; scan into data system; prepare aliquots.
• Retrieve and ship samples: follow requisitions; QA/QC; update batches; complete paperwork.

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 2 years general experience.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Excel proficiency and familiarity with basic functions.
• Able to lift 31-50 lbs; work in cold freezer environments.
• Team player; adaptable to changing tasks and directions.
• Preferred: 1 year lab experience; basic lab skills; aseptic technique training.
