Senior PR Lead for MENAP

Binance is looking for a Senior PR Lead for MENAP, responsible for developing and driving our communications strategy across the Middle East region, including Public Affairs. This role will form part of the local leadership team, and will help craft strategies aimed at protecting the company’s reputation, while supporting the company’s voice on a range of topics including building brand awareness, supporting our global narrative, and addressing local needs when it comes to government relations, licensing & regulation and legal matters among others.

You must be comfortable and confident in working directly with journalists and other external high profile stakeholders, as well as with internal leaders, and developing and delivering communications plans that support the business and policy objectives.

This is a full-time position based in Dubai or Abu Dhabi. The role will report to the Global VP of Communications.

Responsibilities

• Develop a long-term communications strategy that supports Binance’s growth, brand and policy objectives across the Middle East, North Africa and Pakistan.
• Create, implement and manage strategic communication programs to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support public affairs, corporate and brand communications initiatives.
• Track emerging issues and assess their potential impact on Binance; map key stakeholders and build coalitions to drive Binance's corporate, brand and policy agenda.
• Manage multiple PR agencies to support strategic initiatives and develop communications materials, including story pitches, messaging guidelines, press releases, Q&As, presentations and speeches.
• Work with the Executive Leadership Team and other company spokespeople to prepare them for public speaking engagements, media interviews, and company meetings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and represent the pr/communications team on the MENASAT leadership team.
• Must be comfortable with using data to shape stories and use it for various local news angles.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
• 10+ years Communications experience, including either working in-house or in a PR agency based in the region.
• Solid understanding of the MENAP policy environment with a proven-track record working on communications initiatives involving corporate, policy and crisis communications.
• KoL/influencer management experience.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multi-functional leads in a matrix organization.
• Excellent writing skills in English (Arabic speaking would be a bonus).

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal communications and interpersonal skills.
