Billing Supervisor

📋 Description

• Supervise denial follow-up team to resolve insurance denials.
• Oversee daily denial worklists to meet payer deadlines.
• Generate and analyze denial reports (aging, write-offs, recovery).
• Coach and develop Billing Specialists; provide guidance on escalations.
• Collaborate with Billing Manager to monitor KPIs and department goals.
• Support process improvements and special projects in Billing.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; associate/bachelor's preferred.
• 5+ years of billing experience, including 3+ years in a supervisory role.
• Experience leading and training healthcare billing teams.
• Proficient in healthcare revenue cycle and charge entry; BH preferred.
• Strong understanding of payer guidelines and insurance workflows.
• Excellent communication, attention to detail, and coaching ability.
