  • Day-to-day billing ops: oversee status, resolve issues, process payments, generate invoices.
  • Invoicing: create invoices and billing materials; review payment plans.
  • Credits/adjustments: apply credits and resolve misapplications; show balances.
  • Refunds/concessions: approve refunds, issue refunds, handle disputes within thresholds.
  • Collections: manage past-due accounts; outreach via email/phone; escalate as needed.
  • Cross-functional: primary billing contact for Growth, CS, and Support; attend standups.
  • Data quality: monitor billing data for errors; flag issues early.

๐ŸŽฏ Requirements

  • 1โ€“2 years in billing ops, AR, or rev ops in SaaS.
  • Experience with Ordway, Zuora, Chargebee; CRM/ERP integrations.
  • Excel and Google Sheets; comfortable with large datasets.
  • Attention to detail; follow issues through to completion.
  • Strong verbal and written communication; explain billing clearly to internal teams and customers.
  • Ability to work with ambiguity; prioritize across competing requests in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort with cross-functional relationships (Deal Desk, Finance, Engineering, CS).
  • Nice-to-have: Salesforce/Intacct/Ordway/Stripe; ASC 606 familiarity.
