Sr Solutions/Presales Engineer - Germany

Job Overview

BigID is seeking a Senior Solutions/Presales Engineer to join our Germany team in Frankfurt. In this role you will work closely with enterprise customers and the sales organization to position BigID data privacy and data discovery platform, demonstrate product value, respond to technical questions, and help close deals. You will translate customer requirements into technical solutions, deliver live product demonstrations, create tailored demos, and guide customers through technical aspects of deployments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct discovery with customers to understand privacy program requirements
• Deliver technical demonstrations and proofs of concept of the BigID platform
• Respond to technical questions, RFPs, and evaluation requests
• Collaborate with Solutions Engineers, Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams
• Build compelling customer artifacts and tailor demos to stakeholder needs
• Articulate ROI and technical outcomes to executives and engineers
• Travel within Germany and Europe as needed

Requirements

• 5+ years in presales, solutions engineering, or a related technical field sales role
• Deep understanding of data privacy, data discovery, data governance, and privacy regulations
• Experience with enterprise SaaS platforms, cloud environments, and modern security architectures
• Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team
• Fluency in English and German; bachelor's degree or equivalent
