Who we seek:

We’re looking for a Software Team Lead to join our Data Platform team, reporting to the Director of Engineering. As a Software Team Lead, you’ll lead a team of back-end and full-stack engineers, working closely with the Product Manager to plan, kickoff, and execute new product and feature development projects. Our ideal candidate is someone who values excellence, is hungry for success, and thrives when working with the best.

What you’ll do:

  • Solve complex software problems
  • Lead an engineering team in a highly dynamic environment
  • Prioritize your team tasks together with the Product Manager
  • Nurture and grow your team to become efficient, high-performing, and motivated
  • Collect and analyze your team’s KPIs
  • Participate in customer calls, understand their use cases, and solve their problems
  • Collaborate with software teams from Israel, Portugal, Ukraine, Poland, and India

What you’ll bring:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience leading software teams
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in the software engineering field 
  • Experience with SCRUM and Agile methodologies 
  • A strong technical background, including 5-6 years of hands-on experience with Java,  NodeJS, or Typescript
  • Experience working with Product Managers 
  • Experience with NoSQL DBs (preferably MongoDB or Elasticsearch)
  • Experience with micro-services architecture and messaging
  • A solid understanding of CI/CD principles
  • Experience working with both external and in-house APIs and SDKs 
  • Graduate of Computer Science from a major university/college
  • Superb spoken and written English
