BI Manager, Finance

📋 Description

• Build the BI org in Finance: define charter, operating model, hiring plan.
• Own metrics & semantic layer: KPI catalog and single source of truth.
• Dashboards & self-service: dashboards in Tableau/Looker (LookML).
• Data quality & pipelines: review ELT/ETL pipelines; implement tests/alerts.
• Modeling for Finance: finance-ready data models; master data and dimensional design.
• Planning systems integration: set up planning model (Anaplan) and connectors to warehouse.
• Reporting cadence: board/ELT packages, variance bridges, and driver trees.
• AI-assisted analytics: pilot anomaly detection, narrative generation, automation.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience: 6–10+ years in Analytics/BI with Finance/FP&A.
• Technical depth: Advanced SQL; BigQuery (preferred); dbt, Fivetran, Airflow.
• BI tools: Tableau or Looker (LookML) and dashboard design.
• Source systems: NetSuite ERP and Salesforce CRM experience.
• Planning exposure: FP&A workflows; Anaplan or similar.
• Data governance: metric definitions, data contracts, tests/monitoring.
• Communication: executive storytelling; cross-functional influence.
• Mindset: player-coach, systems thinker, bias-to-action, outcome-focused.
