Psychologist - Remote

Role Overview

BetterHelp is seeking a licensed psychologist to join its remote clinical team. In this role, you will provide teletherapy and remote psychological services to clients across North America using BetterHelp's platform. You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, deliver evidence-based psychotherapy, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and collaborate with the care team while upholding privacy and ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual therapy via telehealth to clients with a range of mental health concerns
• Conduct psychosocial assessments and diagnostic evaluations
• Develop and monitor treatment plans and goals
• Document sessions in the electronic health record; maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality
• Collaborate with clinicians and care teams to coordinate compassionate care
• Stay up-to-date with clinical best practices and relevant regulations
• Complete required administrative tasks and ensure timely progress notes

Requirements

• Current, active license as a psychologist in at least one US state
• Doctoral degree in Psychology (PhD or PsyD)
• Experience providing teletherapy or online psychotherapy
• Strong interpersonal communication and empathy; ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Knowledge of evidence-based therapies (CBT, ACT, DBT, etc.)
• Commitment to ethical standards and client confidentiality

Nice-to-have

• Experience working in online therapy platforms or digital mental health services
