Description
Better.com is growing and we are looking for an Analyst - Disclosure Audit to join our Post Closing team. If you are looking to make an impact alongside a collaborative team that is transforming the homeownership industry, check us out
Responsibilities
·
Complete post-closing audit based on compliance guidelines set by CFPB·
Request post-closing final documents from settlement agents·
Escalate non-compliant loans to the manager with detailed explanation·
Communicate/coordinate with internal and external stakeholders·
Generate accurate and timely disclosures and ensure all regulatory requirements are met·
Review tolerance violations based on TRID (TILA RESPA Integrated Disclosure) guidelines and provide detailed reporting of cures determined·
Disclose accurate Post Closing Consummation Disclosure after necessary corrections·
Audit and Reconciliation of Compliance reports, Redisclosures and Closing DisclosuresBasic Qualifications/ Skill Sets
·
High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus·
1+ years of mortgage experience, preferably in Post Closing and Closing Disclosure·
Must have good knowledge of Microsoft Excel·
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines·
