Berkadia is seeking a Lead Associate in Corporate Development to support strategy development, evaluate acquisition opportunities, and lead strategic initiatives across the organization. The role involves financial modeling, due diligence support, market research, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive growth and value creation. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience in finance or consulting, and the ability to communicate complex insights to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

Assist in evaluating acquisition opportunities, strategic partnerships, and other corporate development initiatives.
Develop and maintain financial models, perform valuation analyses, scenario planning, and return analyses.
Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and industry trend assessment to inform strategy.
Coordinate due diligence processes, manage data rooms, and prepare investment memos and presentations.
Support the development of corporate strategy, portfolio optimization, and integration planning where applicable.
Prepare materials for senior leadership and cross-functional teams to support decision making.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
2-5 years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or consulting.
Strong financial modeling, Excel, and PowerPoint skills; proficient in data analysis and quantitative reasoning.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and project-management abilities; ability to manage multiple priorities in a hybrid environment.
Ability to work effectively in a team and interact with senior leadership.
