The Content Strategist is a member of the Content Management Services organization, which includes content authenticity, analytics, and moderation. We consult with clients to create a collection, moderation, and analysis strategy tailored to their needs, and translate that strategy into rules that leverage our tools and moderation staff to collect and efficiently moderate client consumer-generated content (CGC).

In this role, we operate processes and tools to manage the content strategy requirements of over 1,000 Bazaarvoice clients, while also making recommendations to our growing client portfolio through phone, web meetings and email. We help them drive volume through online submission and social media campaigns. We also quickly identify and understand client objectives, connect and translate KPIs into actions, identify risk at early stages, and execute efficiently under pressure while collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve problems. Most of the time we are working to configure basic settings but given this role will lead the APAC region, they will also learn to make slightly more complex configurations in the event of escalations or in country time zone needs. Finally, we occasionally participate in sales calls, representing Moderation and selling our capabilities to prospective clients.

Key Responsibilities

Discover and influence client’s internal metrics for success working with Bazaarvoice, and ensure the client knows how to achieve and measure those results

Consult with clients on CGC collection and moderation strategies

Create rules in the tool to ensure the right content is getting into the funnel for review.

Create rules for remote moderator workforce based on client strategy to make sure the right content makes it to the site.

Query databases using SQL or Presto to generate ad-hoc reports based on internal requests

Utilize existing Pyton scripts to configure machine moderation services

Research and resolve moderation workflow issues reported by internal stakeholders

Review internal bulk moderation requests to ensure they comply with Authenticity policy

Manage client health by identifying, documenting and working with cross-functional team members to mitigate risk

Represent Content Management Services org and promote our values of authenticity and transparency

Maintain knowledge of regulatory frameworks in regard to Ratings & Reviews in the APAC region

Effectively collaborate with internal teams to deliver service and value to clients

Occasionally assist Sales and Pre Sales in understand prospective client needs

Maintain awareness on culturally significant events in the APAC region

Skills & Experience

5-8 years of experience in a client-facing roles with APAC and EU clients, ideally within software, online and/ or other marketing/ e-commerce technologies

1+ year of experience writing SQL queries. Familiary with IDEs such as DataSpell, MySQLWorkbench

Familiarity with Presto and querying data via Athena

Confident written and verbal communication in English

Skillful in time management, organizational systems, and prioritization.

Ability to manage high volume of accounts and directly own client relationships concurrently.

Sufficient in meeting deadlines and expectations with minimal supervision

Basic experience with Microsoft Office and Google suites

Outstanding oral, written, and client-facing presentation skills

Positive, self-starter attitude with absolute willingness to go the extra mile and exceed expectations.

Experience with support ticketing and case management systems

Working hours: 8am-5pm AEST
