Seeking recent graduates, Paraprofessionals, Direct Support Professionals, Habilitation Technicians, Personal Care Aides, Nurse’s Aides, Caregivers, those caring for a family member, and those interested in working with individuals with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, and other Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities (IDDs).

BAYADA Habilitation is currently seeking a Habilitation Technician to work as a Caregiver for individuals with autism, intellectual, or developmental disabilities.Compassionate

caregivers embody both empathy and respect in every interaction, striving to uplift and empower the people they support. Our caregivers provide 1:1 support in the home and in the community.

Paid Apprentice Program: No experience required – We are committed to investing in and nurturing our team members’ desire to grow professionally and make a difference in their community.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

• Spend time on the client’s favorite hobbies and activities.

• Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation.

• Participate in community integration activities, errands, and appointments.

• Patiently teach, encourage, and celebrate small achievements, giving people the space to grow.

• Opportunity to enhance caregiving skills with support from our on-staff nurse and managers.

• Provide personal care assistance as needed

• Weekly Pay

Qualifications:

• One year experience working with clients with intellectual and development disabilities preferred but not required (paid training provided)

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Be at least 18 years of age

Type: Full-Time, Part-Time, Weekdays, Weekends available

Pay: Weekly; $17 and up based on experience
