Backend Engineer

📋 Description

• Design scalable backend services in Go to improve operator decision-making.
• Build high-performance APIs powering customer workflows and internal platform capabilities.
• Model complex relationships in graph databases and optimize schemas/queries.
• Implement event-driven systems (e.g., with NATS) to process real-time data streams.
• Develop automated tests to protect correctness, security, and performance.
• Build and operate microservices on AWS with resilience and cost-aware scaling.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software development experience (backend or full-stack).
• Strong proficiency with Go (Golang) and shipped production services.
• Experience with graph databases (Neo4j, AWS Neptune) including schema design.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and message queues/streaming systems.
• Experience building and maintaining APIs (REST and/or GraphQL).
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS) and cloud-native deployment patterns.
