Axonify is seeking a data-driven, creative, and strategic Director of Content Marketing to own the end-to-end content engine—from narrative development to content distribution and performance optimization. This leader will unify brand, product, and demand narratives to drive awareness, engagement, and revenue.

You’ll oversee the content strategy, brand storytelling, design systems, and performance content across channels. You will manage a team of high-performing content creators and designers, and collaborate cross-functionally with product, growth, and sales to build content that moves the funnel.

This is a hands-on player/coach role for someone obsessed with customer-centric storytelling, conversion performance, and brand consistency

The impact you'll have:

  • Architect a full-funnel content strategy aligned with revenue goals, personas, and buying journeys.
  • Own the company’s brand voice, editorial guidelines, and visual identity across all marketing assets.
  • Develop positioning and messaging that aligns with product launches, campaigns, and GTM motions.
  • Lead and scale a high-performing team of writers, designers, and freelancers.
  • Manage editorial calendars, asset production workflows, and creative pipelines.
  • Ensure agile sprint planning for always-on campaigns and time-sensitive content.
  • Collaborate with Growth, Product Marketing, and Sales to align content with GTM strategies and lead demand generation targets.
  • Create content across formats: blogs, ebooks, webinars, landing pages, case studies, product videos, and more.
  • Build scalable design systems: style guides, templates, and content governance frameworks.
  • Define content KPIs tied to pipeline velocity, engagement, SEO, and lead quality.
  • Own content reporting dashboards and drive iterative testing (titles, CTAs, formats, channels).
  • Integrate SEO best practices and CRO insights into every asset.
  • The things you bring:

  • 8–10+ years in content marketing leadership in B2B SaaS or technology
  • Proven track record driving measurable pipeline impact through content (examples required)
  • Ability to build memorable brands
  • Exceptional written communication and editorial judgment with an eye for detail
  • Experience managing in-house teams, freelancers, and agencies
  • Deep knowledge of SEO, lifecycle content, and full-funnel content strategy
  • Comfort with tools like: CMS (WordPress/Hubspot), GA4, Ahrefs/SEMRush, Figma, Notion, and Asana
  • Creative thinking + performance marketing mindset.
