Role Overview

Technical Revenue Policy Manager at Axon leads the design, governance, and implementation of revenue policies, ensuring alignment with GAAP/ASC 606, pricing, billing, and order-to-cash processes. You will collaborate with Finance, Legal, Sales, Product, and Compliance to drive policy excellence and accurate revenue reporting. This role is based in Denver, Colorado and is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain revenue recognition policies in accordance with ASC 606 and GAAP.
• Collaborate cross-functionally (Finance, Legal, Sales, Product) to govern contracts, pricing, discounts, and billing rules.
• Lead policy governance, change control, training, and documentation for revenue-related processes.
• Support SOX controls and internal/external audits by providing policy and contract guidance.
• Maintain comprehensive policy references and knowledge base materials for revenue assurance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA/CA or equivalent certification preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in revenue accounting, policy, or related areas with emphasis on ASC 606 and GAAP.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and SQL; experience with ERP systems.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced technology environment and manage multiple priorities.
