Technical Program Manager, Software Deployments

Overview

Axon is seeking a Technical Program Manager, Software Deployments to lead complex software deployment programs across our platforms and teams. This role partners with product, engineering, security, and customer success to plan, coordinate, and execute deployments that are reliable, scalable, and secure.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional programs from discovery through delivery for software deployments.
• Develop program roadmaps, milestones, and success criteria; track progress and surface risks.
• Collaborate with product management, engineering, security, IT, and customer success to ensure smooth deployments in production.
• Define deployment playbooks, release processes, and post-release validation.
• Communicate status to stakeholders and manage expectations.
• Identify process improvements to increase deployment speed, quality, and reliability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical program or project management experience, preferably with software deployments.
• Strong cross-functional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with release management, SDLC, and agile methodologies.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and mitigate risk in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
