Axon is seeking a motivated Supervisor for Automation Technicians to join onsite manufacturing operations in Phoenix, Arizona. This role leads a team responsible for automation systems across production lines.
Position Overview
You will supervise automation technicians, oversee installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of automated equipment, and ensure safety and uptime of production lines. This is an onsite role based in Phoenix, AZ.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of automation technicians on site
- Coordinate preventive maintenance and repairs of PLC, HMI, and automation equipment
- Schedule work orders, track performance metrics, and report to the Operations Manager
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to optimize processes
Qualifications
- Experience in automation or manufacturing maintenance (3+ years preferred)
- Hands-on PLC troubleshooting and basic electrical/electronic knowledge
- Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
- Willingness to work onsite in Phoenix, AZ
