Strategic Account Director, Government Sales

Overview

Axon is seeking a Strategic Account Director, Government Sales to lead our government-focused sales strategy from Frankfurt am Main, Germany. In this role you will own strategic government accounts, develop national account plans, drive revenue growth, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver Axon solutions that meet public sector needs.

What you'll do

• Develop and execute strategic account plans for government sector accounts
• Build and maintain executive relationships with government stakeholders
• Lead end-to-end government sales cycles from qualification to close
• Collaborate with Product, Legal, Compliance, Security, and Customer Success to tailor solutions
• Forecast revenue and manage pipeline using CRM tools
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing in line with public sector procurement rules
• Represent Axon at government events and industry conferences
• Travel as needed to meet customers

What we look for

• 8+ years of direct government sales or strategic account management experience
• Track record closing multi-million-dollar government deals
• Deep knowledge of public sector procurement processes and compliance
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic account plans
• Strong relationship-building skills with C-level and procurement officials
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Fluency in English; German language skills are a plus for our Germany-based role
