Overview
Axon is seeking a Solutions Architect, Records/Standards to design and implement scalable records management and data governance architectures across Axon solutions. You will partner with product, engineering, and Customer Enablement teams to define reference architectures, data models, and standards that scale with customer needs. This on-site role is based in Boston.
Responsibilities
- Lead architectural discussions with customers and internal teams to capture requirements related to records management, metadata, and data governance.
- Define data models, metadata standards, APIs, and integration patterns for Axon records/standards solutions.
- Develop reference architectures, deployment guidance, and best practices for security, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with product and engineering to drive features from concept to implementation.
- Create technical documentation, diagrams, and runbooks; provide enablement to Customer Enablement teams and customers.
- Mentor junior architects/engineers and contribute to professional development within the team.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in solutions architecture, data architecture, or enterprise architecture.
- Deep experience with data governance, records management, metadata standards, and data privacy/regulatory compliance.
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), APIs, data modeling, SQL and NoSQL databases, and integration patterns.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with identity and access management, security controls, and information governance frameworks.
- Familiarity with Axon’s product suite is a plus.
