Axon is seeking a Software Engineer II - Test Verification to join our software engineering team in Scottsdale, AZ. This role focuses on building and executing test strategies to ensure the quality of Axon's software products.

Role Overview

You will design, implement, and maintain test plans and automation to verify software behavior across systems, collaborate with developers and QA teammates, and help raise the bar for product quality.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute test plans and verification strategies for software components.
Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure product quality and reliability.
Write automated tests and contribute to test infrastructure and tooling.
Identify, triage, and help resolve defects; participate in code reviews.
Contribute to documentation and test cases; help define testing processes and metrics.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
2-4 years of software engineering or testing experience.
Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, or C++).
Experience with test automation frameworks (JUnit, pytest, Selenium) and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities.
