About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Accounting - Special Projects to join Axon’s Finance team. This role will lead strategic accounting initiatives, manage complex financial reporting, and drive cross-functional projects that enhance efficiency and accuracy across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Own and drive special accounting projects from planning through execution, coordinating with cross-functional partners such as Treasury, FP&A, Legal and Compliance.
Oversee financial statements preparation, close processes, consolidations, and GAAP-compliant reporting.
Identify opportunities for process improvements, internal controls enhancement, and system optimization within accounting workflow.
Support external audits, prepare materials, and respond to inquiries with strong attention to detail.
Lead, mentor, and develop accounting team members to ensure high performance and career growth.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
8+ years of accounting experience, with demonstrated leadership in large-scale projects.
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls, with experience in ERP systems.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and a track record of delivering results.
