Payroll Accounting & Mobility Clerk

About the role

Axon is seeking a Payroll Accounting & Mobility Clerk in Boston, MA to support payroll operations and mobility program reimbursements. This role ensures accurate payroll processing, timely month-end close, and compliance with payroll tax regulations. You will collaborate with Finance, HR, and Benefits to maintain payroll data integrity, reconcile accounts, and manage mobility-related reimbursements.

Responsibilities

• Process and review payroll data for timely and accurate payroll runs
• Maintain and reconcile payroll general ledger accounts
• Support mobility program reimbursements and related expense processing
• Ensure accuracy of payroll deductions and tax withholdings in compliance with applicable laws
• Assist with month-end close and payroll reporting
• Maintain confidential payroll information and ensure data integrity
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries and collaborate with HR/Benefits
• Prepare payroll reports for management and auditors

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; or equivalent experience
• 1-3 years of payroll/accounting experience
• Strong Excel skills; experience with payroll systems
• Solid understanding of US payroll tax regulations and compliance
• High attention to accuracy and confidentiality; good communication skills
