Your Impact

A strategic business partner to our

Product teams and a broad set of key business stakeholders and cross-functional leaders across the company to provide point of view and to drive timely product launch, robust internal controls, timely and accurate US GAAP accounting and reporting process, and integrate new businesses and operations.  

What You'll Do

  • Provide strategic guidance to sales, marketing, and product teams on launching new products and commercial programs, ensuring accelerated SKU setup and program launch while adhering to US GAAP and IFRS standards and enhancing operational efficiency. 
  • Spearhead the global New Product Introduction (NPI) process, fostering accountability among cross-functional reviewers/approvers and resolving approval process bottlenecks. 
  • Serve as the key subject matter expert (SME) for technical accounting assessments of new SKUs and commercial programs, collaborating closely with Revenue Accounting and Technical Accounting teams to maintain alignment. 
  • Take the lead on specific strategic Controllership M&A integrations, overseeing process and system integration for SKUs and combined offerings, and collaborating with key functional leaders like supply chain and operations for seamless integration. 
  • Collaborate with the Revenue Transformation team to drive process improvements and provide clear business requirements for developing interim and long-term solutions for NPI initiatives, such as monitoring dashboards or system enhancements. 
  • Establish robust internal controls and processes to ensure high-quality financial reporting and a smooth Close process, encompassing both operational and financial metrics. 
  • Drive operational excellence by creating a scalable commercial controllership process suited for a high-growth environment. 
  • Provide support for ad hoc Controllership projects arising from rapid growth. 

What You'll Bring

  • 10+ years of relevant experience 
  • BS or equivalent in accounting or finance 
  • Superb project management skills 
  • Prior experience in process transformation 
  • Strong data analytical skills 
  • CPA 
  • Proficient with ASC606  
  • Experience with order to cash or revenue recognition functions at complex and multi-national publicly-traded companies 
  • Relevant industry experience in connected devices and software a plus 
  • Strong business acumen  
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization and technology skills 
  • Executive presence and ability to communicate effectively  
  • Experience in supporting a global sales organization across multiple time zones 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities  
  • M&A integration  
  • Experience with Salesforce, D365 and Microsoft Power Platform a plus

Pay Transparency

The Pay: Axon is a total compensation company, meaning compensation is made up of base pay, bonus, and stock awards. The starting base pay for this role is between USD 144,000 in the lowest geographic market and USD 220,000 in the highest geographic market. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.
