Axon is seeking a Manufacturing Systems Engineer to join our engineering team in Kassel, Germany. This on-site role focuses on designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing systems to improve production efficiency, quality, and scalability.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain manufacturing IT and automation systems.
Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and IT to optimize production processes.
Integrate automation solutions (PLC/SCADA) and data collection for monitoring and analytics.
Support qualification, validation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Provide technical guidance and support to shop floor teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering) or equivalent experience.
Experience with manufacturing systems, automation, and data-driven process improvement.
Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Familiarity with PLC programming, SCADA, MES, or similar systems is a plus.
