Role Overview

The Manufacturing Supervisor will oversee on-site production teams, ensure adherence to schedules, uphold safety and quality standards, and partner with maintenance, quality, and materials teams to meet production goals.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of daily production lines and shift teams
• Enforce safety policies and OSHA compliance on the production floor
• Monitor key performance indicators (output, quality, scrap, downtime) and drive improvements
• Plan and manage daily production schedules; allocate resources effectively
• Coach, train, and develop operators; conduct performance feedback
• Coordinate with Maintenance to maximize equipment uptime and adherence to PMs
• Apply lean manufacturing principles (5S, Kaizen) and lead continuous improvement initiatives
• Investigate non-conformities; lead root cause analyses and corrective actions
• Support new product introductions and line readiness
• Maintain accurate inventory and smooth material flow on the line
• Report production metrics to site leadership and stakeholders

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manufacturing supervision or equivalent leadership experience
• Strong communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of safety regulations and lean manufacturing practices
• Experience with ERP/MES systems and reading production metrics
• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred
• On-site availability in Phoenix, AZ
