Manager, Business Analysts

Overview

Axon is seeking a Manager, Business Analysts to lead the business analytics function, partnering with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into analytics solutions and drive data-informed decision making across the organization. This leadership role manages a team of analysts and collaborates with product, operations, and finance to deliver insights that enable strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of business analysts to deliver high-quality analyses and insights.
• Partner with product, operations, finance, and IT stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
• Translate business needs into analytics requirements, data models, and dashboards that enable data-driven decision making.
• Define, track, and report on key performance indicators and metrics to measure outcomes and impact.
• Prioritize work, manage stakeholder expectations, and ensure timely delivery of analytical projects.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation through data analytics.
• Collaborate with data engineering and BI teams to source data and deliver scalable, reusable solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in business analysis or data analytics; leadership experience preferred.
• Proficiency in SQL and data manipulation; experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business needs into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities; able to work cross-functionally.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
