We are seeking a Lead Security Officer to manage on-site security operations at our Scottsdale, AZ campus and lead the security team to uphold the highest standards of safety and compliance.

Role Overview

As the Lead Security Officer, you will oversee day-to-day security operations, supervise security personnel, develop and enforce security policies, coordinate with facilities and safety teams, respond to incidents, and ensure compliance with company standards and applicable laws. This role requires strong leadership, situational awareness, and the ability to make quick, informed decisions to protect people and property.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise security staff to ensure consistent protection and service quality
• Develop, implement, and update security procedures and protocols
• Monitor access control, surveillance systems, and physical security measures
• Respond to incidents, coordinate investigations, and manage crisis response efforts
• Conduct risk assessments and regular safety audits to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (facilities, HR, operations) to ensure safe and secure operations

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in corporate or public safety/security roles with leadership responsibilities
• Strong knowledge of access control, CCTV, incident response, and risk assessment
• Excellent communication, decision-making, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle sensitive information
• Availability to work various shifts as needed
• Bachelor's degree preferred
