Overview

Axon is seeking a Dedrone New Product Engineer (ONSITE) to drive the development of new products from concept through launch. This on-site role is based in Mesa, Arizona and requires collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, manufacturable solutions.

What you'll do

Lead the design and development of new products from concept to launch.
Create and test prototypes, perform design for manufacturing (DFM) analyses, and ensure product quality.
Coordinate with product management, operations, manufacturing, and quality teams.
Document specifications, test plans, validation results, and risk analyses.
Support production transfer, process documentation, and training.
Help define product requirements and feasibility assessments.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or related field.
3+ years of product development or engineering experience.
Proficiency with CAD tools and prototyping; strong hands-on problem solving.
Experience with test and validation, data analysis, root-cause investigation.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work on-site in Mesa, AZ.

Preferred

Experience with sensors, embedded hardware, or electronics.
Familiarity with manufacturing processes and supply chain considerations.
